THE MANE EVENT: MULLET CONTEST

REGISTRATION

If you've got that glorious mane and a passion for NASCAR, we need you front and center at the NASCAR Experience Stage on Saturday, April 26th at 1:00 pm. Don't let your mullet miss out on the action – be there, comb in hand, and ready to rock the racetrack!

Get ready to rev up your engines and show off your best mullet at THE MANE EVENT: MULLET CONTEST featuring none other than Josh Williams, the driver of the #11 Chevy.

We're on the lookout for the ultimate mullet, 10 (ten) contestants will be judged on length and shape, texture and volume, creativity and originality, and of course, confidence and stage presence. Josh Williams himself will crown our winner, dubbing them the champion of the "Business in the Front, Party in the Back" mullet at Talladega.

And the prize? An adrenaline-pumping NASCAR Racing Experience Driver Voucher.

It's time to rock your mullet and race for glory!

PARTICIPATION INFO & GUIDELINES

SELECTION

10 (Ten) participants will be selected and contacted by a NASCAR Experience representative.
ARRIVAL

Participants must be at NASCAR Experience stage by 12:30 pm on Saturday, April 26 to participate.
JUDGING CRITERIA

The contestants will be judged on length, shape, texture, volume, creativity, originality, confidence, and stage presence.
TIEBREAKER

In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be broken by mullet measurement from top to bottom. The mullet with the longest length will move on.
MUST BE SOBER

Participants must be sober and compose themselves in an orderly fashion.

MUST BE FULLY DRESSED

Participants must be wearing a shirt, shorts/pants, and shoes to participate.
NO BEVERAGES

Participants may not bring any kind of beverage on stage.
DISQUALIFICATIONS

Disorderly conduct by the participant will be an immediate disqualification from the game.
EVENT SCHEDULE 12:30pm – 1:30pm Saturday, April 26th 12:30 pm – Participants arrive/sign waivers and are given instructions for the contest. 
1:00 pm – Hosts welcome Josh Williams and do a short Q&A. 
1:10 pm – Host explains the rules to the audience. 
1:12 pm – Round 1 - Contestants will be split up into 2 groups of 5. 
  • Group A will come on stage and show off their mullet.
  • Group B will come on stage and show off their mullet.
  • Judges will show scores on dry-erase boards.
  • Scores will be added together.
  • The top 2 from each group advance to the final round!
1:20 pm – Final Round – “Final 4 come back for a 2nd appearance.” 
1:25 pm – Josh awards the winner the prize based on audience vote
