STEM Day Presented by First Bank of Alabama takes place on Friday of both the Spring and Fall race weekends at Talladega Superspeedway. Middle schoolers from East Central Alabama are invited to embark on a day of learning within the Talladega Garage Experience Presented by Coolray, where they take part in an up-close experience focused on STEM and NASCAR.

The day begins with a school bus lap around the track’s apron, and welcome ceremonies in Mobil 1 Victory Lane. Track President, Brian Crichton, and First Bank of Alabama President and CEO, Chad Jones, welcome the students and dismiss them to their stations. These unique stations offer an interactive opportunity for students to learn about STEM’s different roles within the sport of NASCAR, and within the community. Students are provided with t-shirts, lunch, and the chance to interact with NASCAR drivers and stock cars.
