Race Weekend Fan Guide

Facility Rules: Entry Guide

Enhanced NASCAR security measures may lead to increased entry times. In an effort to ensure the safety of all guests entering Talladega Superspeedway, every patron will enter through one of our open Entrance Plazas and be security wand scanned (body scanned), and all carry-in items will be searched. See below for staggered entry times and information.

This information is tentative and subject to change.

Don't forget to print or save your tickets to your mobile device before you arrive for race day!

If you are securing your ticket/admission within a protective holder on a lanyard, please ensure the barcode is completely visible in a clear area.

When approaching the metal detectors, please remove any large metal objects (cell phones, keys, cameras, etc.). You do not need to remove your hat, jacket, belt, wallet, watch, or other objects of similar size, unless instructed to do so. If carrying coins, please remove them prior to entry to avoid detection of these items. Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives) are strictly prohibited in grandstand/tower seating as well as the Talladega Garage Experience.

Wait for Gate Staff to instruct you to walk to the body screener, one person at a time. If the device detects something, you may be asked to re-check your pockets and will be scanned again. Once you are screened, please proceed to the bag check station and again to the gate for your ticket to be scanned.

You and your belongings will be searched upon entry into Talladega Superspeedway. We suggest you review our Allowed/Prohibited Items list before arriving on property, and approaching the gates. By tendering your ticket and entering the grandstand/facility, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against Talladega Superspeedway, its members and/or subsidiaries, officers, employees, agents, sponsors, trustees, receivers, successors and assigns, parent companies, related or affiliated companies and all of their shareholders and directors, and sanctioning bodies. If you elect to not consent to the searches, you will be denied entry to the grandstand/facility. Every guest must pass through a security checkpoint. Re-entries are permitted with valid ticket, but all guests will be re-screened. All gates at Talladega Superspeedway are ADA accessible.

All seating areas at Talladega Superspeedway are SMOKE FREE. This includes cigarettes, pipes, cigars, electronic cigarettes and vapes (with or without nicotine). Designated smoking sections are located throughout the concourses. See below for locations.

Designated smoking areas are available in the Talladega Garage Experience.

  • Observe no smoking in all seating areas, inside the entry plaza admission gates, on the Party Patio, in the elevator and general concourse areas. Smoking is only permitted in marked areas of the concourses and Party Patio.
  • Complying with all published infield and outside camping rules.
  • All persons entering the speedway are subject to reasonable search to protect the safety of the public and ensure compliance with this Code of Conduct.
  • Items intended for sale or trade may not be brought onto speedway property, including the parking lots, without a written agreement with the speedway.
  • The unauthorized resale of tickets in, on or around speedway property is not permitted under any circumstances. Persons caught selling tickets in violation may have their tickets and rights to future tickets to events revoked. To avoid counterfeit or stolen tickets, please purchase tickets through authorized speedway ticket outlets only.

Speedway management reserves the right to amend these items and has final determination in what is included in each.

Guests are responsible for their own behavior and the behavior of guests who they have provided admissions to. If speedway staff or law enforcement personnel need to respond and intervene on any of the above prohibited behaviors, those found in violation of this Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without refund. Violations may result in the loss of ticket renewal privileges to future events and/or arrest.

With your help, every guest will have a positive and memorable experience here at Talladega Superspeedway.
