TALLADEGA, Ala. (March 11, 2024) — Immerse your tastebuds in the great outdoors as Talladega Superspeedway will host the 18th Annual Alabama Wildlife Federation Wild Game Cook-Off Saturday, March 16 at 4:00 p.m. CT at BIG BILL‘s in the Talladega Garage Experience Presented by Coolray.
Cook-off teams from all over Alabama will compete in the challenge preparing unique, mouth-watering dishes. Fans in attendance will have the chance to sample these creations which are scheduled to include wild game delicacies like shrimp, wild boar, venison, pheasant, duck and more. Throughout the event, there will be door prizes, live music, firearm raffles, and a silent auction featuring some extravagant items including motorsports items, outdoor/hunting products, a utility trailer, wildlife prints and much more.

Just weeks after the Cook-Off, Talladega‘s spring tripleheader motorsports weekend gets underway on April 20-21. Saturday‘s slate will feature a doubleheader – the ARCA Menards Series General Tire 200 at 12:30 p.m. ET and continues at 4:00 p.m. ET with the NASCAR Xfinity Series Ag-Pro 300. On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series stars will duke it out during the GEICO 500 to close out the weekend at 3:00 p.m. ET.
