IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR THE OCTOBER 2-4 WEEKEND
We hope you and your family have remained safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for your overwhelming patience and support. At this time, we are planning to safely welcome fans back to 'Dega in accordance with guidelines from state and local government, medical professionals, and public health officials. In order to provide the best and safest possible experience during the October 2-4 weekend, new safety protocols and procedures will be in place.
To reduce potential for crowds in social or common areas, our seating and camping capacity has been reduced. Fans will not be in attendance in frontstretch seating on Friday or Saturday, and the duration of stay for campers has been reduced to three nights. As a result, areas and offerings listed below will be closed or unavailable.
CREDIT/RELOCATION/OPT OUT/REFUND INFORMATION
Account holders affected by these closings will automatically receive credit for the amount of their purchase, plus an additional 20% of the amount paid. If you choose to keep the 120% credit option, no further action is needed at this time. Please note that credits will be processed at a later date. The credit can be used toward securing tickets for the 2021 October race weekend or toward any NASCAR event at a NASCAR-owned track in 2020 or 2021, upon availability.
*Accounts with payment plan schedules will receive credit for the current amount paid as of August 27, 2020.
For some campers affected by closings, relocation to an alternate campground may be possible, upon availability. Please call us at 877.Go2.DEGA if interested in relocation.
This option is provided to customers who would prefer to opt out of the October 2-4 race weekend and apply the entire purchase amount towards their regular camping spot to the same event in 2021. To select this option, please complete and submit the form using the button below.

For more information regarding credit, please call us at 877.Go2.DEGA (877.462.3342).
Q. How do I get a refund instead of an event credit?
A. Ticketholders requesting a refund must complete the refund request by October 9, 2020. All refund requests will be reviewed and, if approved, refunds could take a minimum of 60 days to show on your credit card.

Q: How will I receive my refund?

Every effort will be made to expedite your refund.
For more information regarding event credits and refunds, please call us at 877.Go2.DEGA (877.462.3342).
Q: WILL THIS AFFECT MY RENEWAL RIGHTS?
A. All Fall renewal guests will retain their renewal rights for 2021 based on their original orders. If you intend to renew for 2021, we highly recommend the automatic credit option to take advantage of the additional 20% credit.
Q: WHY ARE SOME CAMPGROUNDS CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT WEEKEND?
A. In order reduce the potential for crowds in social/common areas, all campground shower and restroom facilities will be closed. As a result, we will not be able to accommodate tent campers or open our free campgrounds. Additionally, all campers on Talladega property must have self-contained RVs with toilet facilities on board, as well as other amenities. Portable toilets via Wise Environmental will be available to rent for individual spots.
Some infield grounds may also be located within NASCAR's secure competition area, which will need to be kept clear to follow protocols designed to keep drivers, teams, industry members, and fans safe.
Q: MY OUTSIDE CAMPGROUND IS CLOSED, BUT I ALSO HAVE SUNDAY TICKETS. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
A. You will receive a 120% credit for your camping spot and any other contents of your order affected by closings.
Our seating capacity has also been reduced to allow for social distancing, and fans will receive new seat assignments for the YellaWood 500 NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, October 4. Your new seat assignments will likely be different, but we will make every attempt to place you in comparable seating as close as possible to your existing seats.
If you would like to opt out of attending this October and move your entire camping + tickets order to Fall 2021, please complete this form.
If you have more questions or need assistance, please call us at 877.Go2.DEGA.
Q: What are the camping protocols in place for October?
Practice social distancing
Campers must keep six feet of space between you and neighboring guests at all times. Try to avoid high traffic areas during your stay. Please keep in mind, these are extraordinary times, and while we want to continue to bring fans out to the races, we must do so in a safe manner. Hopefully soon we will be back with social gatherings, but in the meantime, please respect those around you and remain at your campsite.
Enjoy the races, but be responsible and respect the enhanced social distancing rules. While at your campsite, feel free to relax and enjoy the races as usual. When leaving your campsite, fans must wear a face covering at all times.
Entertainment Activities Postponed
At this time, in an effort to limit any social gatherings, Talladega will not open social areas or provide entertainment such as the Big One on the Blvd and Saturday Night Infield Concert. We look forward to hosting similar activities at future races.
For now, campers should remain at their assigned campsites and adhere to social distance requirements and track policies.
Entry & Pre-Screening
RV entry time will be staggered to help reduce wait times to enter the camping areas as well as potential crowding as guests enter and setup campsites. Please make sure to adhere to the specified entry time when it is determined.
RVs will be staged to go through a pre-screening process. During this staging period, all guests must remain inside their RV. The pre-screening process includes answering questions regarding current health status and potential exposure, as well as a non-contact temperature check.
If anyone in the RV does not pass the screening / non-contact temperature check, for the safety of all guests, the entire party will not be permitted to enter the track.
Reduced Number of Nights and Guests
To reduce the overall number of guests inside the campgrounds and potential for crowding in social or common areas, each RV campsite will be reduced to only allow for a maximum of 6 guests per spot.
Additionally, the duration of camping stay allowed is now 3 nights. Campers can stay with us Friday, October 2 through Monday, October 5 at NOON CT.
Self-Contained RVs & Amenities
To reduce the potential for crowds in social or common areas, all RVs entering the track must be self-contained. This requires each RV to have proper cooking facilities with an on-board power source, toilet facilities with on-board holding tank, potable water supply system including faucet, sink and holding tanks, and heating and/or air conditioning separate from the vehicle’s engine.
All campground restrooms / showers will be closed.
How to Park your RV
For additional safety measures, all campers will be asked to park their RV identically and facing the same direction. This should provide plenty of space for a canopy as well as separation from neighboring sites. This also avoids sharing of open space between RVs and corralling of RVs.
Q: Do you foresee any other changes to event weekend?
A. As we continue to work with our local and state public health officials, there may be changes to event offerings and the protocols for the event. If any changes occur, we will update all ticket holders via email, social media, and our website.
Q: Will tailgating be allowed? Will I be able to bring my cooler back to the track?
A. In accordance with safety protocols and procedures, limited tailgating will be allowed on Sunday, October 4 prior to the YellaWood 500. Tents and grills will not be allowed, and only groups who traveled together will be allowed to tailgate together at their parking spot while adhering to social distancing guidelines.
Coolers will not be permitted in grandstand/tower seating in October. However, fans will be able to bring ice in the allowed clear bag through entry gates.
Q: How do I get a refund for the rest of my race weekend travel?
A. Fans will need to work directly with airlines, hotels, etc. for any such possible arrangements.
Q: I bought tickets through another source, can I still get an event credit or refund?
A. Any event credits or refunds will only be made to the ticketholder on file with the speedway. If tickets were purchased through a third party, please contact them directly for information on their refund policy.
