BASIC HISTORY & PURPOSE:

Opened in April of 1983, the International Motorsports Hall of Fame and Museum is dedicated to the preservation of the history of motorsports.

HOURS FOR THE IMHOF & MUSEUM, PITSHOP RETAIL STORE & TICKET OFFICE:

• The IMHOF and Museum and Pitshop Retail Store are open from 9 to 4 p.m., 7 days a week with the exception of major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and Easter). Extended race week hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• The Talladega Superspeedway Ticket Office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Friday. Race week, the Ticket Office is open from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, then 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday, CST. Talladega Superspeedway race weekend event tickets may be purchased by calling 1-877-Go2-DEGA or visiting www.racetickets.com.

COSTS FOR THE IMHOF & MUSEUM , TRACK & COMBO TOURS:

• Admission to the museum is $10 for adults, $5 for kids age 7 to 17 and free for kids age 6 and younger. Discounts to the museum of $1 off individual tickets are available to: adults in the military, AAA members, senior citizens, children (age 7 to 17) of a military member or AAA member. Discounts do not apply to combo or track tour tickets.
• Combo packages that include tours of both the museum and track* are $12 for adults, $8 for kids age 7 to 17 and free for kids age 6 and younger. PLEASE NOTE: No track tours will be given race week or the week following the race.

* Track tours will be given at approximately 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. each day, with each tour lasting approximately 30 minutes. Tour routes are subject to change due to on-track activity.
