AMP Energy Juice Film

Friday, October 29 - Sunday, October 31

For decades legend and lore have swirled around the 2.66 miles of asphalt that make up racing's fastest track -- Talladega Superspeedway. This Halloween, in celebration of the AMP Energy Juice 500 at Talladega on Oct. 31st, the world will learn the “truth”. This original short film, presented by AMP Energy Juice, is directed by Terry Gilliam and stars David Arquette & Justin Kirk, with special appearances by Dale Earnhardt Jr., Darrell Waltrip and many more. AMP Energy Juice Theatres will be set up in the infield near the shower house across from Frontrunners 1 and the second location is in their corporate display.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Autograph Session

Friday, October 29 - 2 pm - 3 pm

Drivers from the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be having an autograph session on Friday in the concourse area behind OV Hill South Grandstand Sections D & E.

DEGAQUE Presented by Smoke on the Water Productions

Friday, October 29 - Saturday, October 30 - All Day

The second annual DEGAQUE Alabama Barbecue Championship, one of the world’s richest KCBS sanctioned contests with $50,000 in guaranteed prize money, October 29-30. 

Race fans are welcome to attend and sample delicious BBQ prepared by various cook teams or create a team and compete!

Sam's Club Retail Stores

Thursday, October 28 - Sunday, October 31

Sam's Club will have two retail stores at Talladega providing grocery items and other necessities available for fans to purchase throughout the race weekend. The infield location is across from the North Tunnel by Turn 4 by the shower house. The second location is on the south side of the property by the Family Reserved Park camping.

The hours are Thursday - Saturday 8 am - 8 pm and Sunday 8 am - 12 noon.

Miller Lite Inside Track Bar

Friday, October 29 - Sunday, October 31

The Miller Lite Inside Track Bar is a great place to meet up with friends in the infield. At the intersection of Talladega Blvd and Eastaboga Blvd.

Saturday, October 30 - 11 am - 3 am - Live Music from 8 pm - 11 pm followed by the Miller Lite Halloween Party with a DJ from 11 pm - 3 am

24th Annual Race Fever benefiting Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind

Friday, October 29 - 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The 25th Annual Race Rever is a barbecue dinner & auction fundraiser for Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind at the International Motorsports Hall of Fame and Museum in the SPEED Channel Dome.

Tickets are only $50 per person, and include admission to the event, an all-you-can-eat barbecue feast, the chance to meet dozens of NASCAR drivers, and an opportunity to bid on remarkable race memorabilia, vacation packages and other items donated by businesses and friends of AIDB.

Party With Captain Morgan!

Captain Morgan and the Morganette will be partying at the Captain's Quarters stage Saturday night.

7:00 pm with the Captain Morgan Costume Contest, including 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for the best costume.

7:45 pm The Grand Magnolias, formerly known as Hightide Blues, will take the stage with their special blend of "roots rock" with a modern twist.

9:30 pm Josh Gracin Concert

All Sunday ticket holders are invited to experience the infield, concerts and all the fun that makes Talladega "more than a race".

Friday, October 29

The infield party will be officially underway with a concert by Colt Ford in the Captain’s Quarters. 

The Captain’s Quarters are located in the grass area between Eastaboga and Talladega Blvd in the infield. 

Colt Ford is a walking, talking 300-pound celebration of country music and country living. His songs pay tribute to the people, pastimes and attitudes that define a lifestyle embraced from Texas to Wisconsin, from Florida to Washington State and a lot of places in between.  Fans who have race tickets for Saturday or Sunday are welcome to enjoy the one of a kind atmosphere of the Talladega infield and great music.

SPEED Scream Contest - Saturday

Talladega Superspeedway and SPEED are teaming up to offer NASCAR Fans something to scream about. Visit the SPEED stage during the AMP Energy Juice 500 Weekend for the SPEED Scream Contest and let us heard your best bloodcurdling scream, for a chance to win a 'frightfully' good HALLOW-DEGA^SM prize package.

11:00 am - 4:00 pm - Scream Contest Qualifiers - Stop by the SPEED Stage every hour to qualify for the final scream contest that will be held during the special edition of Trackside at 5:30 pm.

SPEED TV LIVE Show Tapings

Everyone has seen race fans in the audience at a live taping on the SPEED Stage. SPEED TV will be set up all weekend during the AMP Energy Juice 500 weekend broadcasting LIVE front Talladega Superspeedway. Here is a complete list of the shows and when they are taping at the SPEED Stage during the race weekend. The SPEED Stage is located on the outside of Turn 4 are on the Frontstretch. Look for the SPEED Tower!

Costume Contest at The Sprint Experience

HALLOW-DEGA Spooky Costume CONTEST up for grabs!

The second-annual HALLOW-DEGA Costume Contest at The Sprint Experience is sure to be a scary time but fitting way to celebrate Halloween at the Talladega Superspeedway!

Fans can enter into one of many competition categories including the Scariest Costume, best Couples Costumes, and best NASCAR-themed Costume.  Celebrity judges will be on hand to determine the best costume.

Sport your best costume to win prizes such as $100 gift cards for the NASCAR.com/superstore and a VIP experience at Talladega Superspeedway.

Fans can sign up beginning Saturday, Oct. 30 from 8 am -11 am CT outside the Sprint Experience in the display area.

Talladega-Texaco Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony

Saturday, October 30 - 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Talladega-Texaco Walk of Fame in downtown Talladega is both a focal point saluting NASCAR's greatest names and a tribute to one of racing's brighest stars - the late Davey Allison.

Celebrate the 2010 class as voted on by the fans. The fans have voted for Kasey Kahne and Jim Paschal to be inducted in to this year's class. A fun event perfect for the family featuring music, games and fans!
