Fan Advisory Network
What is the Talladega Superspeedway Fan Advisory Network?
Talladega Superspeedway is asking a group of fans to share their observations and make suggestions on how we can continue to improve the Talladega Superspeedway event experience through a newly established Fan Advisory Network or TSS FAN.
The TSS FAN will focus on creating constructive communication with the Talladega Superspeedway administration. The goal is to identify, discuss and make proactive recommendations that will benefit fans who attend Talladega Superspeedway events.
The topics for discussion will not be limited to traditional facility improvement conversation but will encompass a fan's interaction with Talladega Superspeedway starting with the purchase encounter all the way through attendance of an event including all of the service interaction with the fan in-between.
Meet the 2011 Fan Advisory Network
Talladega Superspeedway has selected 30 race fans to serve as the first members of the Talladega Superspeedway Fan Advisory Network (TSS FAN). The TSS FAN will focus on creating constructive dialogue with the Talladega Superspeedway administration team.
“Our goals is to have a team of race fans that can help us identify areas the track can improve upon that will benefit all fans attending races at Talladega Superspeedway,” said Chairman Grant Lynch. “It gives us the ability to look at ourselves through the eyes of a race fan and make the best decisions concerning their experiences.”
The TSS FAN members will serve a one-year term which will include two race weekends at Talladega. After serving for two race weekends, the member’s term will expire and new members will be chosen.
In addition to periodic teleconferences, onsite meetings will take place at Talladega Superspeedway during race weekends.

TSS FAN Guidelines
How are Fans Chosen for Committee Participation?
In order to facilitate an effective and constructive working advisory network, committee membership is limited to 30 individuals. The committee will consist of 30 members, consisting of a demographic and geographic cross-section of fans.
The committee members in office will serve a 1 year term which will include two (2) race weekends at Talladega. After serving for two (2) NASCAR race weekends, the members' term will expire and new members will be chosen or members ask to continue.
How often are members required to participate?
Talladega Superspeedway officials will create an online Fan Advisory Network for communicating with Talladega Superspeedway officials. Beginning in January 2012 the TSS FAN will meet two (2) times a year, during each event weekend. Teleconferences will also be scheduled for Network members. An agenda for these teleconferences will be distributed in advance via the Fan Advisory Network and directly to committee members' e-mail addresses.
In addition to the teleconference, onsite meetings at Talladega Superspeedway will take place on Friday of event weekend (time and place distributed in advance).
Talladega Superspeedway officials will make sure network discussion topics and action items are documented, addressed and the ending result is communicated to all members for each on-site meeting and teleconference. All members will be asked to communicate their ideas, questions or concerns in advance of the meetings.
How do I become a member?
The online application process is currently closed for 2012! The application deadline for 2012 was November 10th, 2011.
Members chosen will be notified by phone and e-mail and must confirm their membership acceptance in writing via e-mail to tssguestservices@talladegasuperspeedway.com with the subject line text – 2012 TSS FAN Appointment. The body of the email must confirm that you accept or decline the invitation.
