After one of the most successful and monumental years in the history of iconic Talladega Superspeedway, the 2.66-mile venue is just three months away from hosting its first motorsports weekend in 2020 and will introduce the new Talladega Garage Experience to fans at its springtime tripleheader, April 24-26.
Bill Elliott’s 1985 Ford Thunderbird that recorded the greatest comeback in NASCAR history when he made up nearly two laps (more than five miles) under green flag conditions at Talladega Superspeedway is just one of many iconic race cars at the International Motorsports Hall of Fame, adjacent to the 2.66-mile venue. Fans are urged to stop by for a visit while in town for Talladega’s tripleheader this weekend.
