CAMPING SERVICE PHONE NUMBERS
See phone numbers below for basic camping services.
Because we have so many campers with us during race week, it is extremely important that all guests stay safe. Please see below for important safety information.
Avoid carbon monoxide poisoning when using generators.
Never use a generator or heater inside RVs, tents, trailers or similar areas, even when using fans or opening doors and windows for ventilation. Deadly levels of carbon monoxide can quickly build up in these areas and can linger for hours, even after the generator has shut off.
Follow the instructions that come with your generator. Locate the unit outdoors and far from RVs, tents, trailers, doors, windows and vents that could allow carbon monoxide to come indoors.
Get fresh air right away if you start to feel dizzy or weak.
Never store fuel for your generator in RVs, tents or trailers. Gasoline, propane, kerosene and other flammable liquids should be stored outside of these areas in properly labeled, non-glass safety containers. Do not store them near a fuel-burning appliance, such as a natural gas water heater.
Before refueling the generator, turn it off and let it cool down. Gasoline spilled on hot engine parts could ignite.
Service animals are welcome:
Persons with disabilities and their service dogs or miniature horses that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for those persons with disabilities are welcome at Talladega, as are those responsible for training the service animals.
The following are NOT service animals:
By law, if an animal's purpose or task is to provide protection, emotional support, well-being, comfort or companionship, it is not considered a service animal and may not be allowed past admission gates and into the grandstands.
Service animals in training:
Service animals in training must be advanced enough in their training to handle an event as intense as a NASCAR event. Please remember these events are very loud and very crowded.
Service animal procedures:
When you approach the entry gates, tell the gate staff that you have a service animal.
A service animal must adhere to the following conditions or the handler must remove the animal from the site. The handler may return without the animal. The animal must:
Be under the control of its handler at all times
Not threaten the health or safety of any person or other animal
Caring for your service animal:
Do not leave your animal at your campsite or parking space. All service animals must remain by the handler's side at all times and must be harnessed, leashed or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal's work or the individual's disability prevents the use of these devices. In which case, the individual must maintain control of the service animal through voice, signal or other effective controls.
Service animals must be housebroken, and the handler should come prepared with cleaning items.
Be prepared to carry and provide plenty of water for your service animal.
Bring enough food for your service animal. Dog food is not sold on Talladega Superspeedway property.
Anyone bringing a service animal will be responsible for and liable for any damage or injury caused by the animal.
