Talladega Superspeedway
Talladega Superspeedway is a 2.66 mile tri-oval course. The turns are banked at 33 degrees at the highest, and the frontstretch tri-oval is banked at 16.5 degrees. The track is 48 feet wide with an apron that is an additional 12 feet in width. The frontstretch is 4,300’ long and the backstretch is 4,000’ long.
The race track has been used for race car testing, manufacturer testing, driving schools, charity ride-in events, marathons, world record speed/endurance attempts, commercial, movie and television shoots.
