TSS FAN ADVISORY NETWORK
What is the Fan Advisory Committee?
Talladega Superspeedway is asking a group of fans to share their observations and make suggestions on how we can continue to improve the Talladega Superspeedway event experience through a newly established Fan Advisory Committee and Fan Advisory Network.
The Fan Advisory Committee will focus on creating constructive communication between Talladega Superspeedway Administration and Fan Advisory Committee members. The goal is to identify, discuss and make proactive recommendations that will benefit fans who attend Talladega Superspeedway events.
The topics for discussion will not be limited to traditional facility improvement conversation but will encompass a fan’s interaction with Talladega Superspeedway starting with the purchase encounter all the way through attendance of an event including all of the service interaction with the fan in between.
How are Fans Chosen for Committee Participation?
In order to facilitate an effective and constructive working advisory board, committee membership is limited to 20 individuals. The committee will consist of 10 members, consisting of a demographic and geographic cross-section of fans.
The committee members in office will serve 2 NASCAR race weekends at Talladega (basically one year). After serving for two NASCAR race weekends, the members’ term will expire and new members will be chosen.
How often are members required to participate?
Talladega Superspeedway officials will create an online Fan Advisory network for communicating with Talladega Superspeedway officials. 2 Times a starting in January, teleconferences will also be scheduled for committee members. An agenda for these teleconferences will be distributed in advance via the Fan Advisory Network and directly to committee members’ e-mail addresses.
In addition to the teleconference, at-Talladega meetings will take place on Friday at a time to be announced later during NASCAR event weekends at Talladega Superspeedway.
How do I become a member?
The first and founding members of the Talladega Superspeedway Fan Advisory Committee will be chosen prior to the Aaron’s Dream race weekend. Twenty members will be chosen.
The online application deadline was December 6, 2013.
Members chosen will be notified by phone and e-mail and must confirm their membership acceptance in writing via e-mail to email@example.com with the subject line text - 2014 TSS F.A.C. APPOINTMENT. The word “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” must be entered in the main body of the e-mail.
