TALLADEGA, AL – Have the need for speed and want to be somewhere fast? Talladega Superspeedway’s answer is TallaTaxi which returns this spring for the track’s anticipated triple-header race weekend, May 5-7, headlined by the GEICO 500.
TallaTaxis can transport up to six passengers at a time and will actually be available starting Thursday, May 4 for fans arriving early and will continue throughout the remainder of the weekend. TallaTaxis will be in use for all three of Talladega Superspeedway’s race events: the GEICO 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (May 7), Sparks Energy 300 NASCAR XFINITY Series (May 6), and General Tire 200 ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards (May 5).
TallaTaxi, which debuted at Talladega last fall, is a 24-hour service, making travel easy for both the early birds and all-nighters. Starting at the low-price of $5 (per person, per ride), fans can grab a ride to and from nearly anywhere on Talladega’s 3,000 acres of property (excluding only the West C campground).
To catch a ride simply call or text 623.340.5876 or flag one down with the classic “HEY TAXI!” wave, as there will be many, unmistakable black and yellow checked golf carts around speedway property.
TallaTaxis help guests reach their destination in a timely manner, while keeping them well-rested for the weekend’s activities, where the winners of the GEICO 500 and Sparks Energy 300 events will be all but locked into the season-ending playoffs.
“We received so many rave reviews about the debut of TallaTaxi and are thrilled to welcome them back to Talladega Superspeedway,” track Chairman Grant Lynch said. “It goes beyond a typical transportation service because it will pick up and drop off fans at nearly any location. It is a huge hit with our fans.”
Patron Transport Services, LLC, which prides itself on offering 24-hour golf-cart taxi services at a variety of events across the country, began in 2005.
