Miss America Caressa Cameron Set to Perform Anthem at ‘DEGA
Talladega Superspeedway has announced that Miss America 2010, Caressa Cameron, will perform the national anthem prior the Aaron’s 499 at Talladega Superspeedway on April 25. Additionally, Nashville Recording Artist Brittini Black will perform the national anthem prior the Aaron’s 312 on April 24.
Cameron’s vocal talent helped her win the Miss America title in January. A native of Fredericksburg, Va., she is currently a student at Virginia Commonwealth University where she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Mass Communications.
Black began singing when she was 2 years old and by the time she was 12, as a
member of a mother/daughter duo, a plan had been mapped out to pursue a career in country music. Her debut record, "Good Happens" was released September 9, 2008 and she immediately set out on her first radio tour in an alternative fuel vehicle to promote the release of her first single "Good Happens".
