Race fans that want to experience the infield at Talladega Superspeedway will be able to do so at a 40% discount over previous years. The regularly priced $70 Sunday infield admissions have been reduced to $40 for the Aaron’s 499 on April 26th.
“Talladega Superspeedway is continuing to combat the tough economy any way we can,” said Talladega Superspeedway President Rick Humphrey. “We have received positive reviews on our $40 ticket promotion, but infield guests wanted to know what we were doing to help them during these troubled times. We have since responded with the $40 Sunday infield admission. It goes without saying that the infield at Talladega is a once in a lifetime experience, but stay tuned, because we have even more surprises coming for our infield guests.”
Infield admissions go on sale at 6 p.m. Saturday of race weekend at the Talladega Superspeedway Ticket Office and the Gate V9 ticket booth. Children 11 and under are admitted free of charge to the infield with a paid adult.
In addition to reduced prices on infield admissions and grandstand seating, Talladega Superspeedway continues to offer free day parking on track property and free overnight parks. The track recently announced reduced prices at the concession stand as well.
In 2009, Talladega Superspeedway proudly celebrates forty years of the most competitive racing in NASCAR. While the track has seen changes made to the cars that circle its high-banks, the surface that they race on and the grandstands that thousands of fans fill twice a year, one constant remains; Talladega Superspeedway is authentic NASCAR racing at its finest.
Race fans should make plans now to experience part of Talladega’s history in 2009 during the triple-header, Aaron’s Dream Weekend, April 24-26, featuring the ARCA RE/MAX Series, the NASCAR Nationwide Series and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
